Both wood and paper originate from trees — but the key difference lies in how the material is sourced and what happens at the end of its life cycle.
Our paper pallets are made from FSC-certified recycled paper fibres, not virgin kraft. Instead of harvesting new timber, we recover existing paper waste and re-engineer it into durable, load-bearing pallets. And when their service life is complete, they can be recycled back into paper products again — continuing the material cycle rather than ending it.
Wood pallets, on the other hand, are produced from virgin timber and cannot be recycled back into wood pallets. While they may be reused a limited number of times, once damaged, they are typically down-cycled into mulch or wood chips, or eventually sent to landfill or incineration.
This closed-loop advantage makes recycled paper pallets a more sustainable solution when true recyclability and end-of-life recovery matter — especially for Malaysian manufacturers and exporters facing rising ESG expectations, stricter timber regulations, and overseas disposal challenges. Not all paper pallets are engineered the same. In the Malaysian market, paper pallet design and structural performance can vary significantly.
Our paper pallets are engineered for export logistics and real-world international handling. We use an Inverted Corrugated Board (ICB) construction, featuring multiple layers of flutes sandwiched between liners to improve impact absorption, internal structural strength, and cargo stability during transport.
The inverted corrugated design incorporates a Patented Reverse Flute orientation, where the flute direction is rotated roughly 90 degrees compared to standard layer pads. While conventional corrugated pads often have flutes running parallel to the board edges, the inverted flute structure is engineered to enhance vertical compression resistance when boxes are stacked on top, reducing deformation risk under sustained load.
Compared to honeycomb boards or standard corrugated layer pads, this structure provides better load distribution and stacking durability for export packaging applications. What about moisture or humidity during shipping?
Our paper pallets are designed to be resistant to humidity and moisture in most operating conditions. For exceptionally wet environments, they can be specially engineered with enhanced waterproofing to ensure consistent and reliable performance throughout the entire journey.
Can paper pallets be used with forklifts and pallet jacks?
Yes. Our paper pallets are compatible with forklifts, stackers and pallet jacks. Entry points can be engineered based on your handling equipment and warehouse setup.
Are paper pallets more expensive than wooden pallets?
While the unit cost may be comparable or slightly higher in some cases, paper pallets often reduce total landed cost through lower freight weight, no ISPM 15 treatment, fewer customs issues, and easier overseas disposal.
